Learning Curve, LLC was established in March of 2001. Melissa M. King, M.Ed. and Mary C. Wright, M.A. are dedicated to providing exceptional educational services that include individualized evaluations, instruction, consultation and education to parents and teachers. We strive to work with teachers, schools and parents in order to bridge the gap between diagnosis and instruction. Our aim is to build respectful and productive relationships so that children and adolescents can thrive and reach their potential.

Melissa King, M.Ed Melissa King is a Learning Specialist who has taught and evaluated children and adults with learning disabilities for more than 20 years. Her multi-disciplinary graduate work included Learning, Language, and Reading Disabilities and she is certified as a kindergarten through age 21 Special Educator in the state of Vermont. Melissa has extensive experience in developing and supervising programs for students of all ages (preschool - college and beyond) who have language-based learning disabilities and other information processing challenges. She has special knowledge and interest in evaluating and planning for gifted students.

Mary Wright is a School Psychologist and Learning Specialist who received her degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston College. She worked with Dr. Russell Barkley at his AD/HD Clinic at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and has specialized knowledge in the area of AD/HD, language-learning disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Mary has published and presented on both regional and national levels related to her interests in preschool literacy and the assessment process.
